IWW Chicago: Dill Pickle Co-Op Workers Went On Strike

on July 7, 2021 Aktuelles with 0 comments

The IWW Dill Pickle Workers’ Union went on strike to save the co-op. The workers are calling on management to settle with the federal government, stop breaking labor law, and face accountability for repeatedly spitting on the union. They demand that management settle rather than fight the National Labor Relations Board and bankrupt the store in the process. The Dill Pickle Co-op workers walked off the job last Friday morning.

Here are some impressions!

More information on the current struggle you’ll find here.

If you’re able, consider donating to the union’s GoFundMe—it’s over its initial goal set early this year, but these funds enable the workers to confidently strike to save the co-op.

We wish our Fellow Worker good luck! An injury to one is an injury to all!
